 2 RemoveanyprintedmaterialortapefromtheToaster,andthen

inspecttheinteriorbylookingdownintotheslotstomakesure

therearenopackagingmaterials,orforeignobjectsinsidethe

Toaster.DonotprobetheinsideoftheToasterwithanymetal

object.

 3 TurntheToasteroverand

unwrapasmuchofthecordas

necessarytoadequatelyreach

theelectricaloutlet,andthen

plugtheunitin.

 4 Onthecontrolpanel,pressthe

uparrowrepeatedlyuntilthe

Pro-Select

®

LCDdisplayissetto

thehighestsettingof“7”.

 5 Withoutplacinganybread

productsintheToaster,push

theEffortless™Lift-OutLever

downuntilitlocksintoplace.

TheToasterwillheatupto

toastingtemperaturesandrun

forapproximately4minutes.Repeatthisprocessagainfora

secondtime.Youmaydetectsomelightsmokeorodor.This

isnormalandwhywerecommendrunningtherstcycleor2

withoutbreadproducts.
